Die Springbok embleem mag steeds op die Springboktrui pronk, maar so ook Suid-Afrika se nasionale sportsimbool, die Koningsprotea. SA Rugby gaan sy besluit binne die volgende twee weke met die Minister van Sport en Ontspanning bespreek. Daar sal verder ook 'n ster op die mou van die Springboktrui aangebring word as deel van die Bokspan se teen-rassisme veldtog.
