Kallis, Boucher & Prince not Picked for Cobras Pro20 Semi
Proteas stalwarts Jacques Kallis, Mark Boucher & Ashwell Prince havn't been picked for the Nashua Cape Cobras' Pro20 semi-final against the Titans on Friday night.
They've concluded international duty and are therefore eligible to play for their franchises, but only Graeme Smith and JP Duminy were asked to play for the Cobras.
The reason for not selecting all the international players available to them is purely for continuity. Cobras coach Shukri Conrad says it'll be unfair to drop six players who helped the side reach the knock out stage.
This move now allows Kallis and Boucher to represent their IPL franchises in the opening round of matches starting on Friday.
Smith and Duminy replace Richard Levi and Stiaan van Zyl in the Cobras team.
