Vodacom Western Province coach, Allister Coetzee, says his young players will be rewarded for their performances this season.
The incumbent scrumhalf for Province at the moment is the young Allistair Siegelaar who, if you didn't know he's a scrumhalf, strikes you as being a front row forward. You could say he's in the mould of Piri Weepu.
But he's captured the eyes of the coach in Province's warmup games leading into the Currie Cup and will start again against the Blue Bulls on Saturday after a solid performance against the Sharks last weekend. His good play is keeping Paul Delport on! the bench, a man who has captained South Africa at lower age group level.
Another youngster who's being rewarded for his play is flanker Pieter Myburgh who stood up well against All Black captain Richie McCaw on his debut in this year's Super 14.
